The Team
Drew Shreiner
Principal
Drew started his career as a designer in New York City working on high-end residential projects. An interest in the building process caused him to pursue projects through a design/build approach, providing a more integrated process to each project. After working on the East Coast, Drew pursued his Masters in Architecture from the University of Oregon which brought he and his family to Portland, OR. Drew has pursued the design/build model on many homes in the Portland area and takes pride in being able to take projects from the initial design stage through construction.
Kegan Flanderka
Principal
As principal at Base Design + Architecture, Kegan pursues projects of varied typologies and scales. He believes that having a diversified background makes for a more flexible and versatile design process. With a background in private development, he has had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects from commercial, multifamily, and hospitality to residential and manufacturing. Kegan received his degree from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo, and has worked throughout the western states on projects of varied scales and with a focus in modular design and construction methods.
